My Own Family Journey
Growing up, my family history was a big part of my life. I had a huge, three-inch book filled with my family tree, tracing back from 1968 all the way to 1690. This history was always in my hands.
Family Conventions
Every year, my family would go to a Lively Convention. So many relatives from across the country would gather to swap stories and information. It was where I first truly connected with my heritage.
Finding My Purpose
Long before the internet, I spent countless hours questioning everyone at these conventions. I followed my direct family line in those books and soaked up all the stories from my dad and grandfather.
